Manhattan Children’s Theatre was founded as a Non-Profit Organization in 2002 by Laura Stevens and Bruce Merrill.

For almost a decade, MCT served over 250,000 audience members through its mission of providing high quality theatrical entertainment to children, families and educators in the New York City Community.

MCT ensured young audiences were exposed to the dramatic arts at the highest level possible using professional writing, compelling stories derived from both classical and contemporary literature and exceptional production values.
